Our motto is passion, felt in every detail. We are unique, multi-layered, LGBTIQ-friendly, dreamy, and creative - but most of all, totally chilled out. Our focus is on cozy vibes and great service. We are always on hand for our guests, no matter the request.

The hotel is located directly on famous Mariahilfer Straße, right next to the Neubaugasse subway station on the U3 line. The hotel entrance is around the corner, at Schadekgasse 20. If you prefer to travel by bus, take the 13A in front of our entrance directly from/to the main station.

The most important meal of the day is not included in the room rate. For a great start into your Vienna adventures, simply enjoy all the delicacies we offer à la carte. We kindly ask you to make a reservation so that your morning kick-off is relaxed. Due to high demand, table reservations are highly recommended.

Fresh experiences coax out the very best in well-known classics, and the menu is graced with all the colors of the rainbow. The culinary standards and the quality of the ingredients are just like the restaurant itself: way up high. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered. Seasonal, fresh and in a great atmosphere. Still longing for more delights? With us, you take room service into your own hands. Get your culinary treats at CHEZ BERNARD and enjoy them in the comfort of your own room. Wine, champagne and other fine flasks come at a take away price of -20 %.

All rooms are equipped with elegant wooden floors and feature a separate toilet as well as a walk-in rain shower. For restful nights, our box spring beds are dressed in high-quality Egyptian cotton bedding. Upon request, we are happy to provide hypoallergenic bedding.

In each room, you will find premium toiletries from Saint Charles, including shampoo, two different shower gels, conditioner, and hand soap. Additionally, you will find useful extras such as earplugs, condoms, a nail file, cotton swabs, cotton pads, and a small sewing kit.

A hairdryer, a Roberts Revival radio, a Nespresso machine, and a kettle are also available in every room. For your visit to our sauna or steam bath, we provide cozy bathrobes. In the DELUXE and ART DELUXE rooms as well as the SUITE JUNIOR, you will also find comfortable slippers.

If you need a razor, shower cap, band-aids, toothpaste, toothbrush, adapter, or an umbrella, simply inquire at the reception.

Please note that we do not offer working desks in the rooms; however, you can borrow a small folding table for your bed from us. We also provide steamers and irons upon request.

Cool or toasty – you decide. Once all the windows are closed, the air conditioning can be individually adjusted using the control wheel. You can cool your room in summer and heat it in winter.

Time to unwind after an exciting day in the city? MOTTO’s recreation zone is located on the 7th floor: rain shower, relaxation room with spring water, unisex sauna, and a small steam room provide the perfect conditions to recharge your batteries and can be used free of charge daily from 4 to 10 pm, or upon request. In order for all our guests to fully enjoy their stay, you’ll find our WELL-BEING rules in the spa-area.

Those who like it more active will find all the toys that the athlete’s heart desires in the fitness room: fitness devices NOHRD like bicycle, treadmill, weight bench, weights, and yoga mats are waiting for a workout from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm

The cleaning crew tidies up until 3 PM daily. Because we care about the environment, you can also do your part by using your towels more than once. Towels lying on the floor will be exchanged. If you want to skip daily cleaning simply hang your DND sign on the door. We change your bedding every 3rd day.

With pleausre we provide a cot or sofa bed for children under 6 years in our DELUXE rooms and SUITE JUNIOR - on request - free of charge. For families up to 4 person (2 adults and 2 children under 12 years) we offer connecting rooms at our DELUXE rooms (subject on availability).

The MOTTO is a smoke-free hotel. If you do not comply, we will have to charge €150 for additional cleaning. You are welcome to smoke in front of the hotel entrance or on the roof terrace.

Yes, of course, we adore animals. To make pets feel comfortable at Hotel MOTTO, we charge an additional 19 € per night. For this, your fluffy companion gets all the necessary essentials.

Bicycle parking facilities are not available at the hotel and storing bicycles in the room is not allowed. There is a public bicycle parking area in front of the hotel entrance where bicycles can be securely parked with their own lock. Alternatively, there are Bike & Ride boxes at the nearby Westbahnhof where bicycles can be safely locked up. Advance reservation is recommended. bikeandridebox.de: Box suchen & buchen

With pleasure you can park your car at the close by public garage MAHÜ77 for a special hotel price of Euro 19,90 per car / 24 h. Payment needs to be done at the hotel - please inform the front desk to receive an exit ticket. The entrance is located at Damböckgasse 4, 1060 Vienna, reservation is not possible. The max. entrance height is 1.95 m.

From 3:00 pm you can get comfortable in the room. Our check-out time is 11:00 am, by then we kindly ask to have cleared the room. Luggage can be left in our secure luggage room until departure, just ask at reception.

Hotel MOTTO is located in the midst of Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna's longest shopping street and inofficial center. It takes about 19 minutes to walk to the city center, the opera and the Stephansdom. The U3 (station Neubaugasse) runs directly in front of the hotel and takes 5 minutes to Stephansplatz.

The MuseumsQuartier with Leopold Museum, MUMOK, Kunsthistorisches Museum and Naturhistorisches Museum is approximately a 9 minute walk away.

Tickets for bus, tram, and subway are available via the app of the Viennese public transport or in the vending machines of the subway stations. The nearest station to Hotel MOTTO is Neubaugasse on Mariahilfer Straße.

The Vienna City Card can be purchased directly in the ivie app and used via smartphone. If you prefer analog, you can also print out the card yourself or buy it as a voucher that can be redeemed at all tourist information offices in Vienna. 

The Vienna City Card is valid as a ticket for public transport in Vienna and can be purchased for 24 h, 48 h or 72 h. A transfer from the airport and a 24 h Hop-On Hop-Off tour can also be selected as optional services. In addition to mobility, the Vienna Card offers many discounts for museums, sightseeing opportunities, theaters, and concerts, as well as shopping and restaurants.

Room reservations for young people under the age of 16 are only possible if accompanied by a legal guardian.For young people between the ages of 16 and 18 are only possible with the written consent of the legal guardian including a copy of ID and contact details of the legal guardian.
