Located on the famous Mariahilfer Str, Boutique Hotel MOTTO embodies Viennese flair with a modern twist – a place to arrive, unwind and fall in love with Vienna's rhythm.
The hotel is located directly on Mariahilfer Strasse 71a in the 6th district in Vienna. The hotel entrance is at Schadekgasse 20, 1060 Vienna.
Hotel MOTTO first welcomed guests in October 2021.
Boutique Hotel MOTTO is part of the MOTTO Group, founded by restaurateur Bernd Schlacher. The group also includes the restaurant MOTTO am Fluss, the in-house bakery MOTTO Brot, and Motto Catering. The hotel is managed by General Manager Stefanie Marik.
Our motto is passion, felt in every detail. We are unique, multi-layered, LGBTIQ-friendly, dreamy, and creative - but most of all, totally chilled out. Our focus is on cozy vibes and great service. We are always on hand for our guests, no matter the request.
The entrance to the U3 Neubaugasse subway station is located right next to the hotel MOTTI. Vienna’s Westbahnhof is only 1.2 km away, and the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) is 2.8 km away with a direct bus connection on line 13A. Vienna International Airport (VIE) is approximately 20 km from the hotel. We are also happy to arrange a limousine service or taxi transfer to and from the airport upon request.
Tickets for bus, tram, and subway are available via the app of the Viennese public transport or in the vending machines of the subway stations. The nearest station to Hotel MOTTO is Neubaugasse on Mariahilfer Straße.
With pleasure you can park your car at the close by public garage MAHÜ77 for a special hotel price of Euro 19,90 per car / 24 h. Payment needs to be done at the hotel - please inform the front desk to receive an exit ticket. The entrance is located at Damböckgasse 4, 1060 Vienna, reservation is not possible. The max. entrance height is 1.95 m.

You can easily reach us by public transport: Take the S7 train from the airport to Landstraße station, then change to the U3 underground line (orange line) towards Neubaugasse. The hotel entrance is located right next to the Amerlingstraße exit.

What makes the DE LUXE Deluxe Room special?

What does the Junior Suite include?
The Junior Suite at Boutique Hotel MOTTO (35–42 m²) offers extra space with a king or twin bed, rain shower and freestanding bathtub, sofa, kitchenette, dining table, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi.
All rooms feature elegant wooden floors, a separate toilet, and a walk-in rain shower. Box-spring beds with premium Egyptian cotton linens ensure restful nights, and allergy-friendly bedding is available upon request.
High-quality Saint Charles amenities are provided in every room, including shampoo, two types of shower gel, conditioner, and hand soap. Additional thoughtful extras include earplugs, condoms, a nail file, cotton swabs, cotton pads, and a small sewing kit. Each room is also equipped with a hairdryer, a Roberts Revival Radio, a Nespresso machine with compostable capsules, a kettle, and a selection of teas.
Guests staying in CHIC, DELUXE, ART DELUXE categories and in the suites will also find a small ironing board and iron. Cozy bathrobes are provided for visits to the sauna or steam bath, and DELUXE, ART DELUXE, and Junior Suite categories additionally include comfortable slippers. Razors, shower caps, plasters, toothpaste, toothbrushes, adapters, or umbrellas can be requested at reception at any time.
Please note: the rooms do not include desks. However, a small fold-out table for the bed can be borrowed, and steamers or additional irons are available on request.

All public areas are air-conditioned during the summer. Each room can be individually controlled. Once all windows are closed, the air conditioning can be adjusted using the control dial. Cooling is available in summer, and the system can also be used for heating in winte
The housekeeping team services the rooms daily until 3:00 pm. To support sustainability, towels can be reused when hung up, while towels placed on the floor will be replaced. Using the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door cancels daily cleaning and ensures privacy. Bed linens are changed every three days.
The Boutique Hotel MOTTO is a smoke-free hotel. If you do not comply, we will have to charge €150 for additional cleaning. You are welcome to smoke in front of the hotel entrance or on the roof terrace.

In the 65 m² wellness area on the 7th floor, guests will find a rain shower, relaxation lounge with spring water, sauna, and steam bath (4:00–10:00 pm, and upon request). Apples, dried fruits, and nuts are available as light snack. The fitness room (7:00 am–10:00 pm) is equipped with a exercise bike, treadmill, weights, and yoga mats. Children are warmly welcome at Boutique Hotel MOTTO.
Upon request, we are happy to provide a complimentary baby cot or sofa bed for children under 6 years of age in our DELUXE rooms and JUNIOR SUITE. For children up to 12 years old, an additional charge per night applies.
For families of up to four guests (2 adults and 2 children under 12), we offer the option to book two connecting rooms in our DELUXE category, subject to availability.

No. As long as your pet is unattended in the room, housekeeping will not enter.
Please inform us once your pet is no longer in the room, and our housekeeping team will be happy to take care of everything.
Are there any special instructions at check-in?
Yes, you will receive a special door hanger as well as “Do Not Disturb” signs to indicate whether your pet is in the room.
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to store your luggage free of charge at our reception.

Hotel MOTTO is located in the midst of Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna's longest shopping street and inofficial center. It takes about 19 minutes to walk to the city center, the opera and the Stephansdom. The U3 (station Neubaugasse) runs directly in front of the hotel and takes 5 minutes to Stephansplatz.
The MuseumsQuartier with Leopold Museum, MUMOK, Kunsthistorisches Museum and Naturhistorisches Museum is approximately a 9 minute walk away.

The Vienna City Card can be purchased directly in the ivie app and used via smartphone. If you prefer analog, you can also print out the card yourself or buy it as a voucher that can be redeemed at all tourist information offices in Vienna.
The Vienna City Card is valid as a ticket for public transport in Vienna and can be purchased for 24 h, 48 h or 72 h. A transfer from the airport and a 24 h Hop-On Hop-Off tour can also be selected as optional services. In addition to mobility, the Vienna Card offers many discounts for museums, sightseeing opportunities, theaters, and concerts, as well as shopping and restaurants.
Bicycle parking facilities are not available at the hotel and storing bicycles in the room is not allowed. There is a public bicycle parking area in front of the hotel entrance where bicycles can be securely parked with their own lock. For reasons of youth protection, the following regulations apply at Boutique Hotel MOTTO:
Room reservations for guests under the age of 16 are only permitted when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Room reservations for guests between 16 and 18 years of age are only possible with a written consent form from a parent or legal guardian. This must include a copy of the guardian’s ID as well as their contact details.
Without meeting these requirements, a room reservation at Boutique Hotel MOTTO is unfortunately not possible.
